In April it will be five years since my dad was given a second chance at life with the gift of a new liver. On Saturday night, my brother Jon and sister Lesley and I took him out to dinner, along with our spouses for his 60th birthday. We recalled lots of fun memories and laughed a lot together.
Dad is still not in the best health - but we praise God for his presence here with us. There's still life to be lived for us all and each day is a gift.
