Yesterday Mike called and I asked him how his day was going. He said he was very thankful. I had a moment where I was anticipating something big and exciting. Then, he proceeded to share how he had just fallen off a roof and was spared serious injury.
He is pretty scraped up, but nothing is broken and he seems to be talking normal too:) Praise God!
I'm so thankful for my husband. He works really long and hard hours. His alarm goes off at 4am and he usually isn't home until 6pm or later. When he gets home he has at least an hour of paper work to complete. And we are lucky if he gets Sunday off. Hopefully it won't always have to be this way ... it's hard on us all - especially him.
This weekend we get to escape to the beach to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. We aren't going to do anything but watch movies, eat, sleep, and watch movies! Relaxation awaits...
