Tail End of Summer '10

Here's a few pictures of my last trips of this summer. First, you'll find pictures of my girl trip to the coast with Becca and Jill...we had the best, most relaxing sort of weekend! And you'll also find some pictures of our first camping trip, which in no way was relaxing!! Good memories, yes....lots of laundry, yes...annoying summer cold from freezing cold nights...yes! I'd write more about our camping trip, but I think the pictures are the best part.

The girls slept really awesome - all together in one full bed!

Great disappointment with the NO FIRE rule, but we had the Traeger to do Smores on!

Our first day was barely nice enough to swim - - the girls had a ball!

Do you see the dirt at this little playground????? They literally poured it all over their bodies each time they played there. Case in point - camping for kids...fun...camping for mom...work!

Drove into nearest city on second day to buy more warm clothes!!! Thank goodness for 5 dollar Walmart sweatshirts!

With the help of gravel, Maisie learned how to get her bike going all by herself. She was on that bike almost the entire time:)

We camped right across from the playground - lots of new friends, even a family from our little town 4 hours away!

This picture makes all the inconvenience WORTH it!!!
