Miniature Pumpkins

Today was our first moms group of the year! Here's how it went down:

Project Idea Born - This is how they looked in the magazine.

This is how mine turned out at 10pm the night before group!

The ladies each made two to take home!

With the extra stuff the girls made one each at home afterward.

Here's Daphne making her stem out of marzipan.

Watch out when Maisie has a bowl of frosting!

Maisie's Pumpkin.

Daphne's sprinkles...I mean, pumpkin.

And although blog posts can be deceiving sometimes...you know

how we pick the best pictures, tell the perfect story...

This last shot tells you the reality of a project like this at my home!

(my sink looked like that ALL day)

OH, but so fun...

Those are SO cute! Did you use a Demarle mold to make them? What magazine did you find them in, I might just have to try them myself!!!

These are all way cute, and you are much braver than me! I see awesome things like that in a magazine, and let me tell you I have a very active interior decorating fantasy life, but that's as far as it goes!

How fun for you guys!! I love doing projects with the girls like that, although we don't do them much anymore :(

I have to stick with Crystal; it's much easier to dream and fantasize than actually create those cute little things. We are not "Martha Stewarts", that is for sure, but we try hard anyway. You did good!

Thanks Stef for such a fun project and morning. It's great that mom's group is growing! Sorry you were left with such a mess in your kitchen. You're such a nice mom to let your girls do such fun projects.

I am so glad you guys came to Grace's party, I know she had lots of fun and I really enjoyed visiting with you and mike!

Praise God that first picture was from a magazine! You don't know how that thrilled my soul! I seriously stared at it forever in awe of what amazing creations you made! Don't get me wrong, the ones you actually made are great, but those magazine ones were just too perfect!
