Ruby is super mobile these days. She crawls all over and pulls herself up on things too. Daphne and Maisie walked at 11 months, so I guess I am in for it again!
She has four teeth and seems very frustrated with baby food these days. We are starting to do more table food cut up really small. We really hear from her when the girls get a special treat in the car and she is left just watching them devour a McDonalds cheeseburger. SOON enough, I tell her...
She is still a great sleeper and a very content little girl. I get some screams once in awhile, like when I peel the van keys out of her hands or when she has to get back in her carseat for the umpteenth time...but besides that...she's in my husband's words, a "SUPERSTAR"!
She also loves her sisters and gives her daddy huge flirtatious smiles. And she's definitely won over her Grandpa's heart. Not to mention how Phoebe has named all her baby dolls Ruby. I just love how the youngest child in the family becomes the adored one of all the kids, even if they themselves are just really babies/two year olds themselves...
My cup these days runneth over...and it's God's gift of little girls that is so filling me up!

So cute! She's growing so fast! I so wish we had a big sink like that so I could bathe Diego in it! Looks like she really enjoys it!

I have a Canon Rebel xti ... and the 50 mm lens (the $90 one). I'm saving for a real nice lens... someday I'll be able to buy it :)
Practice is key - which means pictures, pictures, pictures... and I also took an online class from Karen Russell www.karenrussell.typepad.com that was GREAT!!
